Lisa's Week 38 & 39 Pocket Pages

Good morning my lovely friends!
I have been away for 2 weeks and I was getting a rash because I was missing my creative time.. So now I am so excited to share my page using some of Flutterbys exciting little pieces.
This page come together so easy and Im happy withe the way it looks in the end.
I have not really used these little cut outs but OMG look how stunning this LOVE word looks on this wood grain paper.  I love it.. I think I am now addicted to them.  All of a sudden you have just about created a pocket lol.. as you can see I made it my Week 38 title page and just added a little embellishment … So easy and very effective.
I will be ordering more of these little beauties.
Because I have used Flutterbys 6x4 EVERYDAY CAPTURED card this has dominated my page with bright colour. I dont always used brights… like primary brights.. but had a stack of fun letting go to do this. I just love the background design of this card. Funky and fun even for me and I have used it for MY photos.. and not my 11 yr old son… lol..  And once again I have always got to add a little of something as I struggle to do simple.. but simple it is even with 2 little wood veneer stars.  I have left 1 raw and inked up one using nice bright red ink.

 WEEK 38

In my Capture Life card with my sick little man on his bed I have used the cute little flair YOU.. Perfect for this photo. I thick every page need a flair or two.  Im addicted to these little beauties too.. Ummm.. yes I have several addictions.. they re just so sweet and I could sprinkle them over my breaky and eat them if I could.  I love this little cloud flair also.  If you think..mmm the clouds dont match my photo as it has nothing to do with the sky.. well you may be quite wrong.. These flairs just add cuteness in a bottle to your page and I love dimension.. So I used them willy nilly.  Remember there are no rules in Project Life or Scrapping..  You do as you please. If it looks good… stick it.. thats my theory.

 WEEK 39

On that note.. have a fantastic week.. I am exited for the weekend as I am flying far far north to see my girl.  I have only seen her once the year which is the saddest thing.. so I have booked a week with her and have lots of exciting things planned. Plus I cant wait to have a day with the gorgeous Jodi Beer and Helen Smith.. these girls are the best.. Nothing like true friendships.. even if we are miles apart.

Til then.. happy scrapping girls..

Hi Lauren here :)
I love retreats. The reason for this is not only for
the hours of interrupted scrapbooking time but
to meet and be inspired by creative beautiful women.
This layout is a celebration of those women.

At a recent retreat beautiful Anita arranged some coloured chalk to have some fun with and it was just that, Fun. At one point Anita blasted me in the face with some blue coloured chalk which resulted in me taking on some similarities of Mel Gibson in Braveheart. Lots of laughs were had and a mega memory was created and now documented.
In this layout I have used Flutterby Designs Everday Etc Card range, flairs, and chipboard pieces.

Some close ups...

 Hi Lisa here.
For week 37 I have kept the colours pretty numeral.
I have added a few little pops of colour without letting it take over.
I love this new little wooden veneer 3x4 card from Flutterby Designs. So so funky and easy to embellish if you wish to. I have just punched out the heart circle from a Simple Stories camera and adhered it to the middle of the lens and then added a bit of natural twine.  Looks great and I love adding texture to my pages when I can.
I have popped in this cute little LOVE THIS LIFE filler.
Just perfect when you have an empty spot or want to
add some funk or colour to your page.
The other little embellies I have used from Flutterby Designs are:
Flair button
Page Tabs
Everyday Etc Card
Wood Veneer star
Wood Veneer WEEK

Make sure you go over to Flutterby Designs and have a little shop.
Until next time.. keep creating til your hearts content

Hi Lisa here.
I have put this weeks page together using some of the yummy goodies from Flutterby Designs.
I had fun putting them together. So easy to pick up the goodies as they are all gorgeous.

I am loving these wood veneer WEEK script words. Finally someone has bough out such a great product instead of using up all the W E and K’s in each thickers packets. I have left my wood raw as I love the look of it like that.  Be sure to check out the cute little flair buttons like the one above HELLO.

I have used some of my old stash.. Still love Amy Tans paper collections. I love the little tabs from Flutterby Designs.. I could use these on every page!!
Simple and with a staple they look great.
The little stickers I have used are from Simple Stories..
They fill in the little gaps for me and add colour.
Below I have used the cute little Everyday Etc cards. They are great fillers.
I have added a little star and have lightly inked the edges with my forever favorite ink.

Make sure you go over to Flutterby Designs and have a little shop.
Until next time.. keep creating til your hearts content

Our Guest DT for this month was:
Emily Wilbur (AKA 'OMGITSEMILY074')
So I have been a subscriber to this lovely lady's Youtube channel for a few
years & was over the moon when she agreed to be a Guest DT for Flutterby!!!
Thanks for guesting for us Emily.

Here is a fantastic layout Emily has created.
Emily has used a 6x4 card from our Everyday Etc 'Mixed Media' cards,
a 3x4 card from the blackboard set, 'You are my Happy' Wood bits title,
a flair button & she has even cleverly used the packaging card from out flair buttons!!

I love how big & bold those titles are against Emily's photo of the New York skyline!

Here's Emily's Youtube video opening her goodies from us

Ok - so let's have a look at some new pretties...
Lauren has used the new 'Baby Boy' Everyday Etc cards to create both these gorgeous pocket page layouts! Versatile for both baby & our 'bigger' babies.
Don't panic - there's also a 'Baby Girl' set too  :)

I absolutely LOVE what she has done with
both these layouts!!

Check them all out at the Flutterby Designs STORE

Newest addition to our Design Team is...
The talented project life guru LISA WEBB!!!!!
I'm so excited that lovely lady is joining the Flutterby team & will be sharing
some awesome inspiration with us all!!
A few words from Lisa:
"Im so excited to be part of the Design Team here @ Flutterbys..
As you all may know I am in love with Flairs.. they are the cutest thing
out along side of wood veneers and cameras, oh and stars.. oh and hearts.
I started Project Life January 2013 and have been totally hooked since.
I love the concept of documenting the daily grind warts and all.
I love to be creative but I also love to document more than one photo
like I did with 12x12 pages. To me it is a creative diary I can keep forever
and love to share with my family.
I have a very supportive husband and son who is always keen
to pull faces for me. I scrap most nights from 8.30 - midnight.
I get my second wind at night time and could keep going if I could til
early hours of the morning.. I love photography, but very new at my
Canon EOS 600D.. But I will get there.. Practice practice…!!
I can’t wait to share my work with you all here..."
Stayed tuned, as I have some GORGEOUS project life
layouts from Lisa to share :)

Our fabulous Guest DT for this month are:
Charmane Koch (AUS) & Colie Kumar (US)

Charmane Koch
Hello! My name is Charmane Koch and I am a Scrap-A-Holic! I live in the gorgeous Adelaide Hills in South Australia along with my little family - my partner Ashan, my son Chei and my daughters Harmony & Ryarne. My scrapbooking obsession began two months after my son was born it's been 10 years now! - starting with his milestones and then growing into scrapping about everything! I have been on numerous Design & Creative Teams - Wholesale, Kit clubs & challenge blogs - currently I am designing for Scrap the Girls & Scrap the Boys! I also have a little handmade scrapbooking business called Charms Creations, which also keeps me very busy!
I am so excited at being a guest designer for Flutterby Designs and
can't wait to show you my creations.

You can see more of Charm's work HERE.

Colie Kumar
What can I say about myself?  I have had a life long passion for anything and everything creative which has led me down several paths, but I have finally crash landed in scrapbooking and Project Life.  I started scrapping when I was 11 when all that was available was Creative Memories. When I came back to it in my early twenties, I was amazed to see how much had changed!  I love the versatility and ease of modern scrapbooking (especially Project Life) and the ability to be as simple or as complicated as you want!  Located in Cincinnati, OH now, but I grew up in Minnesota, a true Midwestern girl!  I have had as many college majors as I think they let you have and I am still not done.  I am excited to be finally finishing up with my bachelors and masters all in the span of two years!!  Oh, plus I am a mom to a really cool 18 month old named Voss.

You can see more of Colie's work HERE.

A HUGE thank you to both the girls for
showcasing Flutterby Designs this month!!!
I can't wait to show you who next month's Guest DT is....
